My journey into art comes into great focus through the lens of my camera. My camera drives my character and helps me take chances and reach new limits. From the time I was a little boy I would go camping in the Rocky Mountains and look up into the night sky away from all the light pollution of the cities. It was there under the billions of stars and behind an open shutter that I fell in love with long exposures, especially night sky photography.  After joining the Air Force I met many new people who spoke of never having seen the night sky without the light pollution. This is how I knew I could share the experience and beauty with others.
